For Ages 12-17
Have you ever wondered how honey bees defend their honey, or whether they really do dances? Wanna safely see what it looks like inside a hive, check out iddy-biddy baby bees, and observe how they keep their home cool in summer?
In this five-week course, we’ll explore the life cycles, anatomy, adaptations, and bee-haviors of honeybees. We’ll also explore the symbiotic relationships that bee keepers can foster with their honey bees. AND we'll be crafting up some amazing concoctions while exploring the steps to process the wax, honey, and propolis produced in Alice's hives.
